Two Fernandina Beach City Commission Candidates Actively Promoting Programs Designed To Sexualize Local Children

Two Fernandina Beach City Commission Candidates Actively Promoting Programs Designed To Sexualize Local Children

Following his impressive win November 8 Governor Ron DeSantis proclaimed: “Florida is where woke comes to die.” Well, it’s still thrashing around in Fernandina Beach and voters here have an opportunity to drive a stake through its heart December 13.

DeSantis won reelection mainly because he championed traditional American values, particularly parental rights, over the cultural vandalism promoted by local far-left radical activists.

Floridians made it clear that this is NOT what they want in their state.

Governor DeSantis’s overwhelming victory by a vast majority of Florida voters made it clear we don’t want our children indoctrinated with toxic theories such as gender ideology. Parents say they, not politicians, unions, or any other outside influence has the final say over the upbringing of their children.

Somehow that message got washed away in Fernandina Beach as the red tide spread across the state.

Local voters can bring this rubbish to an end hereabouts by electing City Commission candidates Darron Ayscue and Dr. James Antun, family-men who strongly believe that bringing up children belongs to parents. They do not feign ignorance about the reality of sex, a biological characteristic from which each person’s humanity is permanent.

Thanks to DeSantis public schools in Florida are forbidden by state law from indoctrinating young children with transgender ideology or attempting to transition children behind their parents’ backs. They cannot treat boys as if they were girls or vice versa when it comes to school sports, bathrooms, or locker rooms.

However, two far-left, extremists and Fernandina Beach City Commission candidates, Mike Lednovich and Genece Minshew (pictured above), are attempting to inflict their twisted and toxic view of human sexuality on local children and have even convinced some naïve and passive community establishments to buy into their perverse garbage. City voters need to pay close attention.

A friend sent me an email yesterday saying: “I Just spoke to four separate Republican voters who live in the city this morning at a funeral. NONE of them knew there was a runoff on Dec 13. “Gee, we didn¹t see anything in the papers,” an indication that local media are ignoring this vital campaign.

“Apparently it is crucial to get out the word as Democrats are counting on the fact we won’t,” said my friend.

Mayor Lednovich reads his proclamation while Minshew (second from right) and members of her Fernandina Pride group look on.

This past Tuesday at the City Commission session, leftist Mike Lednovich, the current mayor, issued something called a “Transgender Day of Remembrance Proclamation recognizing November 20, 2022, as Transgender Day of Remembrance to honor the lives of those who might otherwise be forgotten.”

The California transplant and Black Lives Matter enthusiast, Lednovich, presented his proclamation to City Commission Group 5 seat candidate Genece Minshew, Fernandina Beach Pride president, and members of her organization.

What’s next, proclamations honoring “The ‘Funny Uncles’ nobody wants to sit next to at Thanksgiving”, a proclamation honoring “The world’s tallest transgendered dwarf” or one honoring “The altered altar boy”? The possibilities are endless.

Since the mayor sets the agenda for Commission meetings that’s how nonsensical rubbish like this gets on it. Local voters were wise enough to elect Commissioner Bradley Bean the new mayor, so this crap will hopefully come to an end when he picks up the gavel. The next step is to elect Dr. James Antun and Firefighter Darron Ayscue to Commission seats December 13.

A sampling of what Minshew, her organization and Lednovich are promoting ranges from events in the Boys and Girls Club Gym to a session in the Fernandina Beach Middle School gym on Amelia Island inviting folks to “come find your passion, meet with Fernandina Beach Pride…” Oh, there were also “Drag Queen Bingo” and “Drag Queen Brunch” events promoted at the Atlantic Ave. Marriott Courtyard locations on Amelia Island. I’m not making any of this up.

This perverse cultural rot championed by Minshew and Lednovich is seeping into other local organizations. The Nassau County Chamber of Commerce is an example.

Is this what the majority of Fernandina Beach residents want?

The Chamber’s site plugged something called Rainbow Camp saying:Genece Minshew, President of Fernandina Pride, the organization sponsoring the camp, says that “…this will be an environment where LGBTQIA+ youth can feel safe, celebrated, loved, and valued by each other and our community.” The Chamber site added: “Enrollment is open to young people who have completed 6th grade through those who have completed their junior year of high school.” On the site Minshew said: “This will be a great way to truly celebrate Pride Month – for both our young people and our community leaders.”

The Chamber post says the Rainbow Camp “will offer fun and learning including: LBGTQIA+ history,  a Q&A with local LGBTQIA+ adults in successful jobs and careers who will talk about their paths to success, Drag Queens,” and more.

They are taking their message to schools and kid’s venues.  Don’t believe me. See for yourself:

https://www.islandchamber.com/blog/fernandina-beach-pride-announces-rainbow-camp

The Chamber has obviously lost its purpose along with its moral compass. This impotent ineffectual organization should stick to what it does best: convince naïve businesses to pay outrageous membership fees in return for a monthly treat of cheap white wine and rubbery cheese cubes.

A couple of area churches are also participating in this garbage including the New Vision Congregational United Church of Christ. The Chamber publicized that event saying, “June 20 to June 24, 2022, Nassau County LGBTQIA+ Youth Can Have Fun and Learn at a Day Camp Designed Just for Them.” It continues adding Fernandina Beach Pride announces a weeklong Day Camp for LGBTQIA+ youth where they can let loose, connect with others, learn, and express themselves. Camp will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and be based at space donated by New Vision Congregational United Church of Christ, located at 96072 Chester Rd in Yulee.”

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church is also involved is hosting the Transgender Day of Remembrance on Nov 20th  https://www.facebook.com/events/596872348879753?acontext=%7B%22event_action_history%22%3A.

Minshew has reported to have said many times that she wants to turn Fernandina Beach into a “gay destination,” and it appears that she’s working overtime to that end.

Minshew and Lednovich refused to answer the County Citizens Defending Freedom (CCDF) questionnaire which contained a question asking if they favored promoting Fernandina as a gay vacation destination. All other candidates answered saying “No”.

Here’s the questionnaire that both Lednovich and Minshew refused to answer: Voter Guide for Nassau School Board and Fernandina Council Election- 2022. They also refused to answer all media questions asking why they wouldn’t respond.

To view more of what the Minshew and Lednovich extremists are promoting for area young people and others go to https://www.fernandinabeachpride.com/calendar

Do you want to stop the LG+ team (Lednovich and Genece) from grooming local youth and trying to convince your kids and grandkids that their bizarre way of life is normal? Do you want to stop the attack on Judeo-Christian teachings and traditions and the corruption of local American institutions? If so cast your Commission ballots for the AA team (Antun and Ayscue) on December 13. Mark it on your calendar and tell your friends and neighbors. It’s that important. A vote for the two A’s is a vote to preserve Fernandina.

Do my comments make me homophobic, transphobic, etc.?

I don’t care what the adult LGBTQIA+ crowd thinks and does with each other. However, I don’t want it forced on young people or have them taught that it is normal. Local institutions, schools, parks, and ball fields should not be pressured to treat boys as if they were girls or vice versa when it comes to sports, bathrooms, or locker rooms. I don’t want my taxes used to promote their activities or have the government – local or national – involved in telling children that they can change their sex. They can’t, nobody can, not even through surgeries or chemical castration. That doesn’t have anything to do with gay or transgendered rights. That’s child abuse.

***

Attention Parents:  Fernandina parents want reliable and age-appropriate kids’ shows, books, and magazines that teach traditional pro-American and family values – content that parents trust, and children love – that’s not filled with woke agendas.

Do Fernandina Beach residents want this in their kids’ classrooms?

Do local parents understand that there is a war being waged daily for the minds of their children, from the media, to entertainment, to our schools and politicians?

An example of the garbage being touted for children includes this promotion: “If you’re a drag queen and you know it, let it show by winking, shaking your bum, laughing real big, twirling around, and more!”  This promotional material tells kids to join a cast of fabulous drag queens as they sing along to the tune of ‘If You’re Happy and You Know It.’ They say it’s a ‘playful celebration of expressing your brightest and boldest self, a companion to  The Hips on the Drag Queen Go Swish, Swish, Swish written by a board member of Drag Queen Story Hour. They say this book is recommended for ages 4-7.’” Good grief!

Drag Queen Story Hours, hyper-sexualized books in children’s libraries, and manipulative social influencers like Lednovich and Minshew contribute to confusing children about their identities. If mom and dad agree that “Enough is Enough” then this election is vital. A vote for family men Dr. James Antun and Darron Ayscue will keep Fernandina Beach on the right track.

***

Speaking of Drag Queens:  Most reasonable folks refuse to send their sons and daughters to a drag queen story hour because they don’t want a grown man in lingerie spending time with their kids. But the satirical Babylon Bee posted the following seven reasons drag shows are actually good for your kids:

  1. Nothing on Halloween will seem remotely scary anymore: Your kids will no longer run away and cry at that Jason costume after witnessing Priscilla Twerksalot in full makeup.
  2. They’ll definitely believe in the doctrine of total depravity: It’s never too early to teach them sound theology.
  3. It’s an easy spot for cops to round up pedophiles: Obviously.
  4. They’ll have plenty to talk about in therapy later: Wouldn’t want their expensive therapy sessions to be boring!
  5. You can use it as a threat to keep them in line: “If you sass me one more time you’re off to the drag show!”
  6. Being exposed to Monkeypox at a young age helps develop natural immunity: Gotta build up those antibodies.
  7. Since kids are little rebels, they’ll end up rebelling against their insane groomer parents and becoming good, conservative traditionalists: Reverse psychology!

Well, what are you waiting for? Take your kids to a drag show today, and then please turn yourself in to the local police.

Just Wondering: Has eliminating mental hospitals eradicated mental illness? The sidewalks of New York, San Francisco, Atlanta, Philadelphia, etc. clearly demonstrate it hasn’t.

I can help you with your punctuation

Christine Harmon - 13. Dec, 2022 -

Jeff Knocke, maybe you can help me with implementing these “Biblical Values”. Copied from a “Letter to Dr. Laura”.

“Dear Dr. Laura,

Thank you for doing so much to educate people regarding God’s Law. I have learned a great deal from your show, and I try to share that knowledge with as many people as I can. When someone tries to defend the homosexual lifestyle, for example, I simply remind him that Leviticus 18:22 clearly states it to be an abomination. End of debate.

I do need some advice from you, however, regarding some of the specific laws and how to best follow them.

a) When I burn a bull on the altar as a sacrifice, I know it creates a pleasing odor for the Lord (Lev 1:9). The problem is my neighbors. They claim the odor is not pleasing to them. Should I smite them?

b) I would like to sell my daughter into slavery, as sanctioned in Exodus 21:7. In this day and age, what do you think would be a fair price for her?

c) I know that I am allowed no contact with a woman while she is in her period of menstrual uncleanliness (Lev 15:19-24). The problem is, how do I tell? I have tried asking, but most women take offense.

d) Lev. 25:44 states that I may indeed possess slaves, both male and female, provided they are purchased from neighboring nations. A friend of mine claims that this applies to Mexicans, but not Canadians. Can you clarify? Why can’t I own Canadians?

e) I have a neighbor who insists on working on the Sabbath. Exodus 35:2 clearly states he should be put to death. Am I morally obligated to kill him myself?

f) A friend of mine feels that even though eating shellfish is an Abomination (Lev 11:10), it is a lesser abomination than homosexuality. I don’t agree. Can you settle this?

g) Lev 21:20 states that I may not approach the altar of God if I have a defect in my sight. I have to admit that I wear reading glasses. Does my vision have to be 20/20, or is there some wiggle room here?

h) Most of my male friends get their hair trimmed, including the hair around their temples, even though this is expressly forbidden by Lev 19:27. How should they die?

i) I know from Lev 11:6-8 that touching the skin of a dead pig makes me unclean, but may I still play football if I wear gloves?

j) My uncle has a farm. He violates Lev 19:19 by planting two different crops in the same field, as does his wife by wearing garments made of two different kinds of thread (cotton/polyester blend). He also tends to curse and blaspheme a lot. Is it really necessary that we go to all the trouble of getting the whole town together to stone them? (Lev 24:10-16) Couldn’t we just burn them to death at a private family affair like we do with people who sleep with their in-laws? (Lev. 20:14)

I know you have studied these things extensively, so I am confident you can help.

Thank you again for reminding us that God’s word is eternal and unchanging.

Your devoted disciple and adoring fan.”

Why you hate so much - 12. Dec, 2022 -

Why do people who love God so much hate his people!? Articles like this spew hate…. Not very Christian of you, sir!

Robin Lentz - 06. Dec, 2022 -

Dave- I sent you a copy of the flyer that states “Come find your passions” relating to our campaign to recruit volunteers for nonprofits in Nassau. You are using this column to say negative things about Genece. If anything, her leadership as a part of the committee was instrumental in the nonprofit volunteer fairs being successful. 30 organizations attended the FBMS fair and 15 attended the fair held in the gym at Boys and Girls Club. Your column is misleading, and you know it.

Out of these volunteer fairs, new and existing citizens, young and old, were able to meet people and discuss opportunities to give back in the community. People walked around, learned about different places where the could volunteer- animal rescues, Rotary, Girl Scouts, etc.

Shame on you for trying to present that what we were doing was harming or sexualizing children when we were recruiting volunteers for all kinds of organizations that provide much needed social services to people. I have never been more disappointed in you, and I have a high tolerance for the ridiculous things you write. As someone who used to be an actual journalist turned public relations for an oil company, you really missed the mark on accuracy. It’s lunacy actually.

“The lady doth protest too much, methinks”. Perhaps you are a latent gay man and just Need to come out?

Kelly Hayes - 30. Nov, 2022 -

This article is laughable. Why are you so hateful towards people that are “different “
Why is it so horrible that lgbtq kids and young adults have a safe space to go? No one bats an eye when they have church camps so why such hate for lgbtq camps. You have a lot of hate in your heart to be so angry and vocal about acceptance of all individuals. How does any of this affect your day to day life? It doesn’t, so shut up and move on.

John Bertsch - 28. Nov, 2022 -

The best part of your article Dave, is the beginning. The guy whose friends at a funeral didn’t know there would be a run off election. The fact that an obvious Republican was being put 6 feet under the Fernandina soil, simply means that poor soul can’t vote in this election. Count one for the good guys.

Alana - 25. Nov, 2022 -

I am appalled at such hate and lies about this community. The other candidates are NOT fully qualified….
Hating the “other” is exactly how more hate and violence ensues. People are who they are. Gay, straight, trans. NOBODY is trying to MAKE people gay or trans or MAKE children into something they are not.
People of the LGBTQ community are targets and have violence perpetrated towards them because of this type of rhetoric…. Hate begets MORE HATE.

Not a good quality for this place. And making this island SAFE FOR EVERYONE is what is right.
A guy person coming here is NOT going to affect you or your children. Sounds like bigotry and racism and all the other crap about the “OTHER” PEOPLE…..

kindness begets kindness

Libby Drury - 24. Nov, 2022 -

Mr Scott you have way too much time on your hands to create and spread such divisive ideas. This is the type of hate speech that makes right extremists go into clubs and kill people. Obviously, you have very little experience with people that are different from you. Do you know what it is like for people who are gay or transgender to “come out”. The suicide rate for young gay and transgendered youth is very high. Acceptance and belonging allows them to feel validated as human beings. Why are you labeling these two politicians as predators and corrupters of Judeo- Christian values? It is the Trump playbook that is old and ruinous to our society. You are spreading hateful ideas and those ideas will eventually ruin this country. Stop bullying people with your words and remarks about other well intentioned politicians.

Mary Libby - 24. Nov, 2022 -

Dave Scott is the Tucker Carlson of Fernandina. He spews hate and misinformation and thrives on it. It’s really unfortunate that there is a small group of his followers that apparently are willing to feed on his hatred-filled vomitus, and not think for themselves. A true Christian understands that love is love and will not condemn those who look different. What’s next? A condemnation of those born with physical deformities? How is that different?
Mike and Genece are both well qualified to sit on our city commission. They are not developers and will not cater to those who wish to further destroy our little town by building more, and clearcutting more. They will look to the future and see what’s best for our community. I seriously doubt that that would include the planning of the next Drag Queen Bingo.

Al Macdougall - 24. Nov, 2022 -

Well, look at the facts–
Mr. Antun and Mr, Ayscue (the AA Team) are also fully qualified to serve as city commissioners,
AND they do not carry the “baggage” attributed to the LG+ (Lednovich and Genece) Team.
Further, Mr. Lednovich has served, it is time to let other dedicated citizens contribute.
We thank him for his service.
Most importantly, don’t just blog—vote.

Linda Hart Green - 24. Nov, 2022 -

Dave Scott, this is the lowest you have ever sunk. And you set that bar very low. You should be deeply humiliated by this spreading of hate. I am ashamed to live in the same town as someone who sits behind a computer and writes this garbage about people who actually serve their community. This is hate speech and has nothing to do with reality. You show your ignorance. Cease and desist.

Alana - 25. Nov, 2022 -

I couldn’t agree more. Bigotry, racism, misogynistic, HATE, over sensationalism from the media, this blog for example…
This awful blog IS EXACTLY why gay/lesbian/trans people, the “other” are so judged. They are raped, murdered, attacked exactly BECAUSE of this kind of rhetoric. This entire article is out of context…
We should teach our children to be accepting of ALL PEOPLE. THAT is was Jesus did.
As far as people stating they are “Christian” yet feel they can judge thousands of people all the time. That I NOT Christianity. That is taking saying “I’m a Christian” and acting like that makes you better than everyone else….
I am a Christian but I DO NOT judge others and slam them and make posts like this. Again. Appalling to me that this was even posted. Sickening political BS and lies.

Al Macdougall - 23. Nov, 2022 -

Dave, all of the above beggars belief. Your phrase “cultural vandalism” is spot on. I notice that https://www.islandchamber.com/blog/fernandina-beach-pride-announces-rainbow-camp appears to be a dead link. Perhaps someone subsequently came to their senses.

Luckily for all the gender confusion enthusiasts, the “Transgender Day of Remembrance” is still up (https://www.facebook.com/events/596872348879753?acontext=%7B%22event_action_history%22%3A). Having missed the event (I was preoccupied with identifying as a man that day), I didn’t get a chance to ask whether “…the individuals lost to violence in Florida in the past 2 years” include anyone OTHER than “trans” people, or was the Day of Remembrance strictly a “Trans Lives Matter” occasion.

At least we are all presumably welcome to join “Fernandina Beach Pride” the next time they put on an event at Fernandina Beach Middle School. How very trendy!

Sandy Kerry - 23. Nov, 2022 -

There needs to be a door to door campaign of the 13,000 plus residents of Fernandina Beach to go to the polls and VOTE on Dec.13 to keep this twisted agenda out of our community. The local newspaper is simply not making any of Lednovich & Minshew’s true agenda known. Nor is the City going out of it’s way to remind voters of the run-off. These run-off elections with low turnout occur far too often because the City does not participate in the primary election process, making it far too easy for a candidate to be elected that may not actually represent the vast majority of city voters. With a a nonpartisan city race and at-large candidates who are not accountable to a specific group of citizens within the city, you have meaningless seat #s because ALL city residents are entitled to vote for every seat that comes up at every election, regardless of where they reside within the city. There are no geographical boundaries that correspond to seat #s – and thus no accountability. Issues that pertain to or affect a specific geographic area or interest in the city can (and often are) voted down because there is no direct representation of those constituents by specific city commissioners. This can and must be changed by city residents if there is ever going to be true representation of, for, and by the people. But for now we must get the 2 candidates in, Ayscue & Anton, that truly represent the will of the majority of people in Fernandina Beach.

Get overit - 22. Nov, 2022 -

I will never understand why church going people are filled with so much vitriol and hate. Get over yourself! People are different than you, and that’s ok. Ask yourself why you care who they love and why you are against love. LOVE! Instead of hating others (which probably means you hate yourself) try getting to know them. Genece is one of the smartest people I know and loves the community even you hateful ones. MOVE ON!!! Worry about important things not this insignificant culture war.

Maureen Dunn - 21. Nov, 2022 -

Thank you for bringing this to LIGHT! Leftovitch was trying to project himself as a conservative with his “Quality of Life ” for Fernandina slogan. Now we can see his true Rainbow Colors spinning confusion!

Mike Collins - 21. Nov, 2022 -

This is the kind of hate-filled nonsense that led to the murders at Colorado Springs. With all the problems in the world, only a moron would focus on a drag show. You’re sick.

Harrison W - 21. Nov, 2022 -

There is not one iota of evidence that the shooting was “the kind of hate-filled nonsense that led to the murders at Colorado Springs”. Why don’t you wait until the facts come out before placing blame.

Alana - 26. Nov, 2022 -

This is exactly the type of hate filled nonsense and judgmental tone and making “other” people into criminals. The murderer who killed innocent people…. Do you think he got these ideas to harm LGBTQ people from thin air? Exactly why people are so terrified of the “Christian” rhetoric. I know MANY Christians who are NOT filled with this kind of hate for their fellow man.
Nobody is trying to make this island a place for only LGBTQ. THIS island should be accepting of people, not judging what they don’t understand…. Sickening people’s responses to this “blog” of lies. Just appalling. As I said previously Jesus loves everyone, no matter what. Not anyone else’s place to judge, especially when you don’t understand another person.
And this “blog” is completely inaccurate as to what is true. Nobody is trying to turn anyone into anything.
Fear mongering and lies. Disgusting and categorically untrue….most of the stuff in article is untrue ….

C Little - 20. Nov, 2022 -

Thank you for the insight on these candidates.
We won’t see this in the Newsleader and people need to know!

Vicky Easton - 19. Nov, 2022 -

This is total child sexual abuse! Why are these people allowed to do this with underaged kids without being arrested? Looks like pedophilia to me!

Alana - 25. Nov, 2022 -

?
As a survivor of sexual abuse FROM A PEDOPHILE, I can say with certainty that this is NOT an example of sexual abuse in the slightest. As a former professional counselor, this is EXACTLY why people hate. Hate things y’all don’t understand because people are “different”. I wonder what church or bigoted people things slamming people who are different is an OK thing to do.
Shameful. Nobody at MY church would judge others for being different. This is an oversensationalized blog and the THEME is patently untrue. Blasting others and hating on them. Bigotry and judgemental as appalling.

Mike Collins - 19. Nov, 2022 -

Is there no money out there for those signs? Are there no church groups or other groups vehemently opposed?
Where is the community reaction to this?
Perhaps we should all chip in for a full page ad in the local papers? I’m in….

Harrison Waller - 20. Nov, 2022 -

Number Eight: Since you’re leading this effort, how do we contact you?

Harvey Slentz - 18. Nov, 2022 -

I expect that media will report on potentially significant candidate positions, and will not filter out “non-woke” parts or positions.

If a newspaper chooses to publish articles on the basis of a standard applied to all interests, then it’s doing its job. I subscribe to locally-produced “Citizens Journal” and to the Wall Street Journal. That’s all.

Many other publications are Jacksonville-focused or seem to miss the stories that I think are important. If I’m not receiving full-picture and straight neutral news, I’m not going to bother reading it.

John Hornsby - 18. Nov, 2022 -

This all started when all of the former Mayor Johnny Miller lovers got together and voted for a “friend” who had zero business being in a position of power within our community. He brought into the conversation the LGBTQ community by flying a flag over City Hall. No one cares what you do you do in the privacy of your own home, just keep it out of the mainstream so our children are allowed to make THEIR own choices. We need to step up and keep the whackos out of office or else this beautiful island we call home will soon become the east coast San Francisco.

I cannot for the life of me why voters in a supposably conservative community continuously elect queers, BLM Terrorist supporting California Liberal Freaks, and other vermin to public office. I also am beginning to question why this blog has no impact on the community to stop this trash from indoctrination of our children, killing babies in womb up to birth, and being supported by an idiotic ER Doctor that works in a likewise nominal service medical clinic after supposably taking an oath to serve long before bringing his crazy ideals south. In spite of the DeSantis/Rubio Red Tsunami, the voters of Fernandina Beach must accept the fact that they, and only they, allowed these people to bring this type of deviant lifestyle to the town.

Leslie B Balme - 18. Nov, 2022 -

Great commentary Dave! This topic makes my skin crawl!!!

Ken Timmerman - 18. Nov, 2022 -

Dave – thanks for this true community service.

For those reading this blog who live in the City of Fernandina Beach, this should be your wake up call. VOTE VOTE VOTE on December 13. The future of your community and your children depends on it.

Gantt Williams - 18. Nov, 2022 -

Spot on as always Dave. I cannot believe 8% of people voted in favor of the candidates not having to respond to the CCDF survey. That might as well be political malpractice.

Rich Lamken - 18. Nov, 2022 -

Very disturbing that Mayor and Minshew (M&Ms) get to “ proclaim” their jaundiced view of the world and make it the new normal for Fernandina Beach. Almost as disturbing is that lack of knowledge by city residents that there’s an election in December. Supporters of the M&Ms will be motivated to come out to vote. What’s next? Follow California and try to get pedophiles reclassified as Minor Attracted Persons(MAPS). Get out and vote and end this craziness.

Jack Knocke - 18. Nov, 2022 -

It is shocking that these candidates who are openly supporting child indoctrination and grooming into sexual deviant behavior organizations like Fernandina Beach Pride are running for office in the city and making a transgender proclamation. Why is the pride group allowed to take this massaging into Fernandina Beach Middle School, the Boys and Girls club and now the City Commission Chambers?

This information should be front page news in our local papers. Why is this not being covered? Where is our moral compass?

We need leaders in our community who support Biblical Values, Constitutional Values and protection of our children.
