The blog commentary will continue to take a few weeks off to concentrate on researching, writing, printing, and distributing the Amelia Island News Wrecker, an annual parody about local, regional, state, national and international events.
The new News Wrecker will be distributed to various bars, restaurants, shops, and other public locations in Nassau County. It contains stories other news outlets missed or ignored. These include new consignment shops where residents can purchase and sell their used electricity, the startling discovery of nearby nuclear weapons, the grand opening of a local damaged military weapons outlet, a massive hiring spree by Fernandina’s new City Commission and Fernandina’s chances of landing the 2036 Olympics.
If you want to contact us with a news story or tip, you can’t. In order to keep expenses to a minimum we don’t have a news room, an office, a staff or a phone. However, if you want to buy an ad in this issue you can contact Dave Scott at davidnscott@bellsouth.net. If you can handle rejection he will also consider article submissions.
