National & Local Democrats Embrace Deceit & Larceny

Why do Democrats defend and champion illegal aliens, criminals, drug smugglers, the theft of U.S. foreign aid, the plundering of domestic assistance programs and other acts that harm American citizens, steal tax money, and more?

They don’t deny it happens but scream that it’s not them doing the stealing. They shriek that it’s the Trump administration and inhumane billionaires that are denying money to the needy.

They send people like House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries out to explain their mess to the public to stammer in his Lurch-like halting rhetorical style – think the monster in Mel Brooks’ “Young Frankenstein”.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer stumbles out to a podium struggling through a script and all we see is the top of his head as he tries to pronounce words written for him by a staffer.

Do they think that their convoluted logic and screaming and mentally challenged leadership will divert attention away from the overwhelming evidence that it’s Democrats that are stuffing their own pockets with tax payer cash?

The Democrat party is a political party that treats common criminals who have no morals, dignity, or honor as downtrodden victims, then steal money from the government programs meant to help needy Americans actually suffering.

Sanctuary cities are obvious examples of Democrat’s blatant disregard for the law and the harm it does. They are all Democrat-run. These festering dens of crime and immorality provide protection to illegal aliens ranging from rapists and child molesters to homicidal maniacs and human traffickers, and more.

How do Democrat sanctuary cities make any sense? They’re no different than “No Gun Zones.” They attract criminals, particularly illegal aliens. If you have a gun and plan to use it wouldn’t a “no-gun” zone be the logical place to commit a crime. Nobody there is going to shoot back, the sign advertises that.

If you are an illegal alien with criminal intent, what better place to shelter than in a sanctuary city?  Even if they’re arrested the Democrat no-bail nonsense ensures little if any time behind bars. Chicago is a sanctuary city with some of the strictest gun laws in the U.S. and has one of the highest homicide rates in the U.S. How do they explain that?

“We’re going to make America affordable again.” — Jeffries

Democrats are aghast when Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents move in to arrest, imprison or deport their illegal criminal constituency. They send their mindless George Soros-paid minions out on the street yelling and screaming to attack the law enforcement officials that are there to protect American residents and their families.

Wherever they are elected Democrats create an Alice In Wonderland environment. Nothing they do makes any sense and everything they do contradicts what they say it’s intended to do.

Once elected the policies Democrats impose result in abject failure. California, Minnesota, and New York are prime examples featuring extreme taxes, unaffordable housing, and failing school systems. They provide stark evidence of years of failed Democrat policies that result when voters choose moral bankruptcy over law and order. Understandably many are fleeing those states, but what’s surprising is that many others have not.

Are leftists that flat out dumb? Some I have encountered are. If they can’t convince you with their simplistic viewpoints, they resort to name calling, followed by spewing a spittle-flecked  stream of scatological slop, then angrily stomp away. They all follow the same pattern, convincing nobody of anything except their immaturity, lack of rhetorical skills, and famine of facts, thereby reinforcing their opponents’ positions. If nothing else, they’re entertaining in their ignorant obnoxiousness.

Ironically two late prominent Democrat Senators, Estes Kefauver (TN) and Robert F. Kennedy (NY), led organized national crime investigations, Kefauver in the 1950s and Kennedy in the 1960s.

Following Kefauver’s lead, Attorney General Kennedy (RFK) launched an aggressive, coordinated federal war on organized crime, significantly increasing Justice Department resources, fostering inter-agency cooperation (FBI, IRS, etc.), to secure major indictments and convictions against mob figures.

Today things have flipped and the Democrat party now operates like a massive crime family controlling its members with bribery, threats, and empty pledges. They’re Robin Hood in reverse, stealing what should go to the needy and keeping it all for the “family.” They dole it out, not to provide assistance, but to buy votes.

An obvious recent example is the Biden vice presidency and presidency with signed letters, social media posts, references to the “Big Guy,” and then family members getting last minute pardons.

More recently at a December 4 Justice Department press conference, FBI director Kash Patel said the break in the January 6 pipe bomb case was not based on new information but came after new agents were assigned to the case. They carefully combed the existing FBI investigative files and connected the dots that ultimately led to Brian Cole, Jr.’s arrest. The Biden DOJ sat on the evidence.

Democrat followers also view people like cold-blooded murderer Luigi Mangione and the evil killer of Charlie Kirk as revolutionary heroes.

The Democrat party and the country need a Kefauver-Kennedy team to investigate the perverted remnants of their party.

Media Indifference: The main stream media are supposed to act as America’s watchdogs. Instead they act as the Democrat party’s attack dogs snarling and growling at those who expose a Democrat member’s crime or malfeasance.

The media sing the tune that Democrats request acting as ventriloquists to the party.

With few exceptions major media outlets in states like California, Illinois, New York, and Minnesota ignore or make excuses for political nitwits and frauds like Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz and Minneapolis Mayor Jason Fry; California Governor Gavin Newsome and the myriad of idiotic and reprehensible Democrat congressional representatives and mayors representing that state.

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker and the braindead Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson would tie for first place if there was ever a contest for the most incompetent elected public official.

New York’s new mayor, Zohran Mamdani, is well-positioned to soon take top honors in that race to the bottom. He even posted  a video on X instructing residents on how to obstruct ICE agents and that a “warrant of removal” that is used to take illegal immigrants whose deportation has been ordered into custody, was invalid.

Voters wanting dependability, commitment, results, and honesty don’t get it from Democrats, just the opposite.

“Nothing here makes sense.”

Meanwhile Back At The Ranch: Voters hereabouts expecting honesty, integrity and common sense from its community elected officials are more than disappointed.

Amelia Island’s Fernandina Beach isn’t immune to the lies and blithering piffle spouted by national Democrats. Genece Minshew, who won her City Commission seat by just 19 votes is an admitted liar. Her Commission pal, Joyce Tuten, is no better.

Minshew, a registered Democrat changed to Republican admitting she did so saying: “It is clear that having an R behind your name is important if you are to be successful in working with the county and the state, so I changed parties so that I can better represent all the citizens of the city.”  What a crock!

She publicly admitted she has no scruples and does whatever is expedient in an attempt to brazenly mislead voters and get elected. She doesn’t believe in the conservative values of the Republican party and will say and do anything to generate support.

This gal is a fraud, a liar, and a phony and publicly admits it. Tuten who went from Democrat to NRA (No Party Affiliation) is no better.

Following the election Minshew switched back to Democrat. “When I asked her why she gruffly barked: “Because I wanted to.”

Ms. Minshew pride parading.

Prior to running for office Minshew, while the head of the local Pride organization, proclaimed she wanted to make Fernandina Beach a “gay vacation destination.” When asked during the election if she still wanted to do so she refused to answer.

Before announcing that she planned to run for office Minshew served as Commissioner Tim Poynter’s campaign treasurer. The duo consistently vote in unison. Extreme environmentalist, Chip Ross acolyte Tuten, and the potted plant James Antun follow along like tail wagging puppies.

A disgruntled and knowledgeable local resident dissected the current brouhaha over “paid parking” and concluded that what is really going on with pay-to-park is to create a piggy bank for the City Commission to dip into at will.

“There are four commissioners who want to put city taxpayers in deep debt by borrowing $30M or more (Some five times the debt for the Greenway) to pay for a bunch of infrastructure projects,” he says. “In other words, a piggy bank commissioners can use as they wish.”

“The only wrinkle is that in order to qualify for the big loan, they must show any lenders that the parking revenue is reliable, so that probably explains their rush. They need to get a good six to nine months of revenue, at least, to show viability—start up in April to catch the 2026 tourist season.”

“These guys are ignoring the voter because they think they know best,” says this wise person.

Future of Fernandina taxpayers.

“They know voters wouldn’t approve a bond for so much money, so the plan is to go around voters and set up this  parking scheme – and they will force it through on Jan 6, 2026.”

He explained that parking isn’t the issue: “Taking on a major, unprecedented, debt burden for the next 20 years is – without the approval of the taxpayers.”

“Look at the projects,” he emphasized. “The seawall and Main Street’s Centre Street renovation only really benefit downtown businesses – they should foot the bill; City Hall rebuild is not critical; that leaves Brett’s removal and finding new soccer fields the only projects that actually need attention now – which can be handled with $6M or less – and tourists are not responsible for either.”

Residents have loudly rejected the parking scheme, realizing there is no alternative but higher taxes, which are emphatically not wanted – in other words don’t put taxpayers in so much debt for projects without their approval. The last time a commission tried this rogue borrowing, the succeeding commission repaid the bank loan. Interestingly Poynter was on that Commission that approved the loan, then lost his reelection bid and was reelected the last time around.

The normal way for municipalities to fund major infrastructure work is to issue voter approved general obligation bonds, or special purpose revenue bonds. This commission has found a way around that – scary and potentially dangerous — especially if the scheme fails.

Interestingly, Main Street held a pay-to-park meeting with downtown businesses recently. How did that go?  Anybody out there know?

  • David, your tirade arrives like a scorching blast from the very maw of modern political hysteria, and I must clutch my notebook of theological geometry to steady myself against its fumes. The bile-laden denunciations you have unleashed resemble the ravings of a man confined too long within a malfunctioning pneumatic tube system.
Permit me to offer a riposte.

    On Your Grand Political Cosmology:
You seem possessed of the conviction that one political faction alone—Democrats—acts as the singular engine of chaos, permissiveness, and civic collapse. This view is as balanced as a pork chop placed upon one side of a teetering scale. You have mistaken your agitated spleen for political philosophy.
Were you to declare that all modern politicians are incompetent, confused, ethically porous, and incapable of producing legislation that does not resemble a plumbing diagram drawn by a lunatic, I would applaud you with the enthusiasm of a man discovering a long-lost medieval manuscript. But to heap every sin of the Republic upon one party is to indulge in a cartoonish villainy reminiscent of the simplistic morality plays forced upon unfortunate schoolchildren.

On Your Attacks Against Cities and Policies:
Your lamentations about sanctuary cities, no-bail policies, and urban disorder are delivered with the subtlety of a Mardi Gras float crashing through a library. While you may have objections to certain municipal practices, you present them as if they were the opening scenes of an apocalyptic passion play.
Ignatius must remind you that crime, mismanagement, and bureaucratic bungling are not partisan innovations, but long-standing American traditions nourished by every political faction. To claim that one group alone has invented corruption or urban disorder is as nonsensical as asserting that only one brand of hot dog is responsible for gastric distress.

On Your Depictions of Democratic Leaders:
The rhetorical flourishes with which you describe Democratic politicians—halting speech, awkward posture, stylistic peculiarities—may be cathartic for you, but they are hardly evidence of moral catastrophe. Were we to judge political worth solely by oratorical grace, we would have banished most of the nation’s leaders to the swamps decades ago.
All politicians, regardless of party, routinely speak as though reading aloud from cryptic instruction manuals written by disinterested bureaucrats.

On Your Broader Lament about Democratic Governance: You paint a picture of certain states—California, Minnesota, New York—as wastelands of incompetence and moral collapse. Yet you neglect to mention that states governed by the opposing party are often equally beset by mismanagement, crumbling infrastructure, educational failures, and tax policies crafted by economic half-wits. As I observe life, I see failure wherever modernity has taken hold, which, unfortunately, is everywhere.

On Your Final Nostalgic Cry for a New Kefauver–Kennedy Era: Ah, the longing for the lost age of heroic investigators! I too, appreciate the occasional sternly worded congressional crusade, though only when accompanied by the appropriate medieval solemnity. But to imagine that the senators of yore were pure Paladins and today’s leaders mere mountebanks is to engage in the same sentimental revisionism that ruins the modern hot dog—too much sugar, not enough sense.

Your comments resemble the frenzied output of a man who has eaten too rapidly of the processed meats of political propaganda. You have mistaken your indignation for analysis, your grievances for evidence, and your hyperbole for truth.
Therefore, take notice of my learned counsel:

    All parties are flawed.
All politicians are suspect.

All modern governance is a tragicomedy.

And only a return to proper medieval order and sound geometry will save us now.

Good grief! My pyloric system shudders beneath the weight of this civic madness.

  • I used to have a second home in Rehoboth Beach, DE. As a very popular summer spot, naturally there were meters on the commercial streets, and on a lot of the ocean blocks. The workers parked on the residential streets, making that parking so tight the city had to issue property owners free residential parking passes. They also sold residential passes. If we start with meters, eventually the city will have to regulate parking in residential areas. It never stops.

  • Let me simplify it for you, Charlie Brown, without all of the unnecessary garden fertilizer you spread. Here’s the simple quote, “There are a lot of bad republicans, there are no good democrats.”

  • WoW ! ! ! Charlie Brown, that’s a lot of words to say nothing other than you are either intellectually dishonest or grossly confused. You should get out of the house sometimes and stop reading whatever you’re dreading and obviously believing.

Like I’ve read somewhere, and I think it’s in one of Anne Coulter’s books “To anger a Conservative, tell him a lie: and to anger a liberal, tell it the truth.” Ha Ha Ha!

  • I spent most of my money on booze, gambling, and women – I wasted the rest of it feeding municipal parking meters.

  • The city learned the rev bond approach to overriding city residents’ wishes when they purchased the water service. Convinced they could not get 50% of the residents to vote to issue general obligation bonds to fund the purchase, they went the revenue bond approach in effect removing the utility from the oversight of PUC. The upshot is a private company whose rates were controlled by the PUC and which company paid federal revenue tax plus provided a dividend to its owners was now owned by the city which is free to charge whatever the taxpayers will bear. That “deal” unleashed the extortion scheme from hell for those doing business in the City by establishing huge “user” fees on businesses plus foisting a 25% premium charge on the county residents attached to the system at the time of purchase. The effect of all this was to add income to the city that was not a tax.

Along the way, the city had to refund the ridicules impact fees collected plus money to attorneys to defend the indefensible. The interest charged was so high by current standards, the city has decided to recast the outstanding balance of them saving $200K per year but don’t expect to see that money roll out from the enterprise fund to lower rates.

  • Well put Vince. And along the way they changed the name of the unlawful “impact fees” to unlawful “capacity fees”.

What is wrong with you people? Democrats defend immigrants—both legal and undocumented—because they believe in the value of human dignity and the contributions that immigrants make to the nation. It’s important to separate “illegal immigrants” from the broader narrative of all immigrants. Many undocumented individuals come to the U.S. fleeing violence, poverty, or persecution, seeking a better life, often in situations of extreme hardship. The notion that “Democrats champion criminals” conflates the actions of a few with the entire immigrant population. Most immigrants are hardworking individuals, contributing to the U.S. economy and culture in numerous positive ways. Defending their right to live and work here is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves an opportunity, regardless of their legal status. The argument that sanctuary cities “encourage crime” overlooks key facts. Studies show that immigrants—undocumented or not—are less likely to commit serious crimes than native-born Americans. Sanctuary cities are about ensuring that people, regardless of status, feel comfortable reporting crimes, helping law enforcement without fear of deportation. This does not mean that Democrats endorse or protect criminals; it means they prioritize community safety and due process. The claim that Democrats are “stealing” taxpayer money is an exaggeration. Social safety nets like Medicaid, food stamps, or unemployment benefits are crucial for millions of Americans, and these programs make up a small fraction of the national budget. Most government spending goes to defense, social security, and interest on the national debt. When it comes to the alleged “plundering” of domestic assistance programs, it’s worth considering that the vast majority of recipients of government assistance are working individuals—often in jobs that don’t pay enough to cover basic living expenses. Democrats believe that these programs are essential for reducing poverty, supporting economic mobility, and ensuring that all Americans can lead dignified lives. While it’s true that Democrats criticize aggressive immigration enforcement, the motivation is not to weaken law enforcement but to reform a system that is broken and disproportionately punitive. The goal is to balance national security with compassion and fairness, ensuring that individuals facing deportation have access to legal representation and a fair process. Rather than “shrinking” from the law, Democrats seek to reform how the law is applied—particularly with respect to the treatment of immigrants. ICE and border enforcement often lack oversight, and critics point out that aggressive tactics disproportionately harm communities of color and low-income individuals. Sanctuary cities are not “festering dens of crime,” as characterized in the question. Rather, these cities are focused on community safety and creating an environment where people feel comfortable cooperating with law enforcement. The goal is to prevent fear from undermining public safety. Furthermore, studies have shown that sanctuary policies do not lead to increased crime. In fact, many sanctuary cities have lower crime rates than non-sanctuary cities. It’s a nuanced issue, but the evidence does not support the assertion that these policies promote crime. The relationship between media and political parties can be complicated. However, it’s important to note that media outlets—whether perceived as liberal or conservative—have a responsibility to hold all politicians, regardless of party, accountable. The claim that the media simply acts as a mouthpiece for Democrats does not take into account the diverse nature of the media landscape, where there are both liberal and conservative outlets, each offering different perspectives on issues. Regarding states like California, New York, and Illinois, the reality is that liberal-leaning states often face complex challenges due to their large populations, diverse economies, and social safety net systems. High taxes, for instance, are sometimes necessary to fund public services in densely populated areas. These states also provide significant support to their most vulnerable populations, which is why they are often seen as test cases for progressive policies. While it’s true that challenges exist, it’s important to recognize that many of these states also have some of the most innovative and effective policies in areas like renewable energy, healthcare access, and education reform. The argument that these states are “failing” ignores the positive outcomes that have been achieved, particularly for marginalized communities. There is no denying that corruption exists in both parties, and no political party is immune to criticism for unethical actions. However, to suggest that the entire Democratic Party operates as a “crime family” is an oversimplification that disregards the broader commitment many Democrats have to accountability and transparency. And let’s not forget, while Democrats are accused of operating like a crime family, the GOP is led by a man who spent years running a real estate empire full of fraud, fake universities, and countless other shady dealings. As for the Kennedy legacy, it’s almost fitting that a party once known for its commitment to justice and fighting organized crime is now represented by the same kind of reckless behavior RFK once fought so hard against—except this time, the madness is more about conspiracy theories than criminal convictions. So if you want to talk about moral decay, maybe start by looking in the mirror. The GOP can barely keep its own house in order, let alone lecture anyone else on law and order.
  • Amelia Safer, sorry you are certainly an example of a DemoTURD being TRAGICALLY, SEVERELY, and CATASTROPHICALLY lacking in the CEREBRAL PREFRONTAL LOBE CORTEX DEVELOPMENT AREA. Here in the COASTAL PLAINS of FLORIDA that means REALLY, REALLY, STOOOOPID. I have seen DUMB. I have seen DUMBER. I have seen MORE DUMBER. I have seen MUCH MORE DUMBER in my life but this WOMAN, that is if SHE is a WOMAN, and not a MAN playing a WOMAN, IS the dumbest piece of DONKEY EXCREMENT I have ever seen or heard. you need to understand that the only value Democrats see in illegal aliens is votes that help skew elections. The democrat party supports, queers, trans people, criminal illegal aliens, and freeloaders living on the backs of hardworking Americans who pay taxes.
